Every year the organisers of Tyykiblues endeavour to bring to the stage an exciting and eclectic mix of new and established entertainers from the blues world. From small beginnings in 1993 Tyykiblues has grown to become probably the most exciting and original blues festival in the Nordic countries.

The Venue

Easily accessible from Helsinki, Tampere and Turku airports, Forssa was originally founded as a mill town in 1847 by Axel Wilhelm Wahren. Steeped in Finnish cultural history, Forssa is home to several fascinating museums and a theatre a nd plays host some of the most innovative cultural events in Finland. These include Forssa International Silent Film Festival, Forssan Holjat and the American and vintage car show, Pick-Nick. In addition, the privately owned Gallery, Culture Park, hosts regular art exhibitions by leading and emerging Finnish and international artists.
